About GetFood

GetFood.com.au was built on a simple idea: ordering food online shouldn’t cost restaurants a fortune, and it shouldn’t cost customers extra either.

Most delivery platforms take a commission of 15-30% on every order, on top of service fees charged to customers. For a small independent restaurant already running on thin margins, that’s often the difference between a profitable order and a losing one.

We do things differently. Restaurants pay one flat monthly fee, no commission, ever, regardless of how many orders come through. Customers never pay a GetFood service fee. Restaurants handle their own delivery or offer pickup, keeping full control of their own drivers, their own customer relationships, and their own payments, which go straight to their own account the moment an order is placed.

We’re not trying to be everything to everyone. We built GetFood specifically for independent cafes, takeaways, and restaurants who want a straightforward way to take online orders without giving away a third of their revenue to do it.
